The big one

Our son Auden turned one yesterday. We celebrated his big day with a birthday party at the park Saturday afternoon. It was cool and breezy outside, and a perfect day for a birthday party!

There were cousins playing on the playground...

While the grown-ups played croquet!

There was a ball pit for the little ones...

And a table of jars filled with colorful candies!

Also, does this solidify my position as coolest aunt ever among my nieces and nephews? Because it should.


Soon it was time for birthday cake...
