Tonto Natural Bridge

Nathan and I managed to pull ourselves away from the coziness of our not so little cabin during our anniversary retreat this past weekend long enough to enjoy the beauty of the Tonto Natural Bridge. We drove to the park early Friday afternoon to enjoy a picnic and then spent the rest of the day hiking the area. The best part is we had the whole place to ourselves! I think we saw maybe two or three other people the whole time we were there.

This place was beautiful. My pictures cannot do it justice. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you go sometime. You won't be sorry. The hike is not difficult and it is so worth it.

We hiked back out and then over to the back side of the bridge where there are more waterfalls. This was my favorite hike of the day! Everything was beautiful and green and the further in we went the more impossible it became to keep dry.

And how about a picture of Nathan making a crazy face for the camera. He is silly.
And I failed to mention a big, big thank you to my mother and my father for keeping Auden safe and happy all weekend so I could enjoy some alone time with my husband. Thank you mom and dad! We love you!
